The Aflac Duck faces off against his ultimate rival yet again: The Gap Goat—the living, bleating symbol of gaps in medical coverage. Luckily, the Duck isn’t tackling this alone. Coaches Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders and Nick Saban are back and ready to help close the gap, both on the field and in coverage.

With Coach Prime fresh off his move to CU Boulder and all eyes on him, and Coach Saban under the microscope after missing the playoffs for the first time in his Bama tenure, this campaign plugged straight into the heart of college football culture—and pop culture at large. Big names, big stakes, big barnyard energy.

On a personal note: I attended the University of Alabama during Saban’s second year and had the privilege of witnessing three national championship wins during my time there. To call me a Saban fan would be an understatement. They say never meet your heroes—but clearly, those people never got to meet Mrs. Terry.
The team was so excited for me, they stage-dadded the hell out of the shoot—I now basically have 360° 3D coverage of my moment with the Sabans. It was a full-circle life and career highlight: from graduating Bama’s advertising program to creating a commercial with Coach Saban himself.
